Somewhere between ambient music and concrete songwriting, Glass Vaults is almost two bands, canvasing a layer of atmospheric echoes and moans before, you know, playing a song. Each of these records have their own sonic environments, and they make for great escapism. Maybe it’s because Glass Vaults are from New Zealand and Youth Lagoon are from Boise, Idaho. Mutual Benefit, they’re kind of a roamer — we’ll have more about them soon.
